Former Congressman AL LOPEZ served as the youngest member of the Philippine Congress at the age of 24 under the 1987 Constitution as the first Congressman representing the youth sector nationwide during the time of the late former President Corazon C. Aquino.
He is the Principal Author of the Sangguniang Kabataan Law and Republic Act No. 7610 otherwise known as the “Anti-Child Abuse Law”, among others.
